Looking back at the inception of the project, Peralejo admitted that she and the cast felt immense pressure. As the pioneers tasked with giving life to the first installment of the massive Wattpad-hit University Series (originally penned by author Gwy Saludes), they faced heavy doubts over whether viewers would embrace them.
Recalling their early promotional days, she shared that mall tours were far from packed at the start. Yet, right before stepping onto the stage, the cast held onto a simple mantra that became their anchor: “Kaya natin 'to.” (We can do this.)
From One Story to a Massive Legacy
That initial leap of faith eventually paid off as public support grew steadily. What started as a single story blossomed into a massive six-part narrative universe.
"One story became six. Isang pangarap na naging tahanan para sa aming cast at sa lahat ng sumabay sa journey na ito," Peralejo expressed.
