“Kaya Natin 'To”: Heaven Peralejo Gets Emotional as She Bids Farewell to the Iconic 'University Series'

Actress Heaven Peralejo recently took to social media to share a deeply emotional reflection as she faces the culmination of the hit television franchise, the “University Series.”

In a viral social media post reflecting on the journey, Peralejo opened up about how difficult it is to find the exact words to express her feelings about the series coming to an end. Rather than sadness over the final book, her overwhelming emotions stem from looking back at how humble and uncertain their beginnings were.

A Leap of Faith Amid Massive Pressure

Looking back at the inception of the project, Peralejo admitted that she and the cast felt immense pressure. As the pioneers tasked with giving life to the first installment of the massive Wattpad-hit University Series (originally penned by author Gwy Saludes), they faced heavy doubts over whether viewers would embrace them.

Recalling their early promotional days, she shared that mall tours were far from packed at the start. Yet, right before stepping onto the stage, the cast held onto a simple mantra that became their anchor: “Kaya natin 'to.” (We can do this.)

From One Story to a Massive Legacy

That initial leap of faith eventually paid off as public support grew steadily. What started as a single story blossomed into a massive six-part narrative universe.

"One story became six. Isang pangarap na naging tahanan para sa aming cast at sa lahat ng sumabay sa journey na ito," Peralejo expressed.

For the actress, saying goodbye goes far beyond just parting ways with a character—it is closing a life-changing chapter. She ended her heartfelt message with profound gratitude for everyone who believed and poured love into the University Series, emphasizing that the journey will forever hold a special place in her heart.
