The Cast of Project Loki (From Left to Right): Yumi Garcia, Marco Gallo, Dylan Menor, Jayda, and Martin Venegas) Credits: Viva One
The wait is finally over for the "Ibarrans." Studio Viva, CignalPlay, and Webtoon Productions have officially released the teaser for Project Loki, the highly anticipated live-action adaptation of AkosiIbarra’s massive Wattpad hit.
Directed by Xian Lim, the teaser promises a dark, atmospheric mystery that leans heavily into the "Mysteries, Murders, and Mayhems" that made the novel a 92-million-read phenomenon.
The Game is Afoot at Clark University
The teaser introduces us to Lorelei Rios (played by Jayda Avanzado), a transferee seeking a fresh start but finding herself "dead inside." Her path quickly crosses with the cold, analytical Loki Mendez (Dylan Menor), the eccentric head of the Q.E.D. Club.
The visuals suggest a departure from typical campus rom-coms, trading bright hallways for blood-stained floors, police lines, and cryptic puzzles. Fans were treated to glimpses of the full Q.E.D. quartet, including Marco Gallo as the intimidating Luthor Mendez, Yumi Garcia as Jamie Santiago, and Martin Venegas as Alistair Ravena.
From Page to Screen: Faithful Adaptation
Director Xian Lim and author AkosiIbarra have emphasized their commitment to staying true to the source material. Lim noted that the series aims to give "justice" to the masterpiece, ensuring the characters’ dialogue and aesthetic match the readers' expectations. The teaser showcases this dark tone, featuring:
🚪 Room 302: The iconic meeting place of the Q.E.D. Club.
🔍 Cryptic Clues: Visual nods to the cat-and-mouse game against the shadowy "M."
🎬 High-Stakes Drama: Scenes of intense investigation and emotional weight.
When and Where to Watch
Mark your calendars! Project Loki is set to premiere on February 21, 2026. The series will be available for streaming exclusively on Viva One and CignalPlay (will be also aired very soon on TV5)
