Kenneth Medrano, the "Ultimate Bae" and grand winner of Eat Bulaga's hit segment "That's My Bae" in 2015, went public with a heartbreaking health announcement.
In a series of emotional posts on his Instagram account, the dancer-turned-actor revealed that he has been diagnosed with testicular cancer.
A Heartbreaking Diagnosis
Medrano, who rose to fame as the "Dubsmash King of the Philippines" before winning the hearts of "Dabarkads" nationwide, expressed the heavy burden he is currently carrying.
"Sobrang bigat po ng pinagdadaanan ko," Medrano shared. "Nakakahiya ito, but gusto ko pa makita ang mga apo ko... Parang gumuho ang mundo ko!"
The 34-year-old actor admitted that the diagnosis came as a massive blow to him and his family. Despite the fear and uncertainty, Kenneth remains hopeful, citing his desire to see his future grandchildren as his primary motivation to fight the disease.
Urgent Surgery and Medical Expenses
According to the reports, Medrano needs to undergo surgery as soon as possible to prevent the cancer from spreading further. However, the financial cost of the procedure is a significant hurdle. The estimated cost for the operation and initial treatment is approximately P250,000.
Kenneth has set aside his pride to reach out to his followers and the public for assistance.
* Financial Aid: Any amount will go directly to his surgical fund.
* Prayers: For those unable to donate, Kenneth emphasized that spiritual support is equally valuable.
"If you're not able to donate, kahit prayers would mean so much," he added.
