Commuters traveling between Quezon City and Parañaque during the peak of the Lenten season have a reason to breathe a sigh of relief. TV5 has officially announced its "Libreng Sakay" (Free Ride) initiative, titled "My Bespren Emman: Lakbay Alalay ngayong Holy Week," to assist travelers during the busy holiday weekend.
This public service program aims to provide much-needed transportation support as thousands of Filipinos head to terminals and malls for their Holy Week pilgrimage and family gatherings.
Schedule and Routes
The free shuttle service will be operational during the following dates and routes:
* Dates: March 30 and March 31.
* Route 1: SM Fairview to PITX (Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange).
* Route 2: PITX to SM Fairview.
By connecting these two major hubs, the initiative covers a significant portion of the Metro, easing the burden on the public transport system during the "Lakbay Alalay" period.
