SAN JUAN, LA UNION – The surfing capital of the North just got a lot hotter as TV5 and True FM officially kicked off the "Red Hot Kapatid Summer 2026." The shores of Elyu were transformed into a massive celebration hub, bringing together top-tier OPM legends, rising stars, and thousands of "Kapatids" for a solid night of music and summer vibes.
Rocking the Shore with Sandwich
The highlight of the evening was the electrifying performance by the iconic OPM band Sandwich. Led by Raymund Marasigan, the group delivered a "rak en rol" set that had the crowd jumping by the beach. The energy was palpable as they performed their greatest hits, proving that nothing beats live music against the backdrop of a La Union sunset.
‘Harana’ and Kilig Vibes
The night wasn’t just about rock and roll; it was also filled with kilig moments. Fans swooned as the lead stars of TV5’s My Bespren Emman, Iven Lim and Yasmyne Jill, took the stage for a sweet rendition of "Harana." Their undeniable chemistry was a hit among the beachgoers, making it one of the most talked-about moments on social media.
Fierce Hosting and Fan Interaction
Keeping the energy high throughout the event was Kapatid host Sam Coloso, who stunned the crowd in a "hot and fierce" red outfit. Alongside her were Good Morning Kapatid hosts Dimples Romana, Angelo Castro, and weather expert Alvin Pura, who all joined in the festivities.
More Than Just Music
The Red Hot Kapatid Summer offered more than just a concert. Early birds were treated to:
- Fun Booths: From temporary tattoos and hair braiding to live painting sessions.
- Giveaways: The first 300 attendees received exclusive merch and eco-bags from sponsors.
- Interactive Stations: Fans had the chance to take photos at designated Instagrammable spots and join on-ground games.
Missed the fun? Don’t worry! TV5’s summer caravan is just getting started. Stay tuned to TV5 and True FM for the next stops of the tour!
