BE THE VIBE: 'VIBE' Rolls Out Game-Changing Two-Week Voting Cycle and Brand New 'Request OG' Feature!

OPM and P-Pop fans, gear up! VIBE, the country’s premier fan-powered Original Pilipino Music countdown show, has officially shaken up its mechanics to give fan communities more power, more time, and more ways to champion their favorite artists.

In a newly released promotional video, the show announced a massive transition from its previous setup to an extended two-week voting cycle. This means fandoms now have twice the time to rally, strategize, and push their top picks into the coveted charts of the Main Vibe countdown and the Uprising universe.

New Multi-Channel Voting Mechanics

The voting window officially opens every Thursday at 12:00 NN and will now run continuously for two full weeks, closing on the succeeding second Thursday at 11:59 AM.

To accommodate everyone, VIBE continues to offer both free and premium voting options:

Free Daily Voting: Fans can cast their votes daily at no cost via the official Vibe PH Messenger account by simply selecting their preferred experience (Main Vibe or Uprising) and submitting their favorite artist's name and track.

SMS Voting (Premium): For those looking to maximize their voting power, Smart and TNT subscribers can text their votes to 3456 for only ₱2.50 per vote. Fans can send up to 15 votes per day, per SIM card, using the syntax: VIBE (space) EXPERIENCE (space) ARTIST (space) SONG TITLE.

Introducing 'Request OG': Honor the Legends

Aside from the major schedule shift, VIBE is introducing an exciting new feature called "Request OG." This segment aims to bring legendary Filipino music icons back to the center stage. Fans are encouraged to comment on VIBE’s official social media platforms (@vibeph.tv) to request classic hits and performances from the OPM icons they miss the most.

With longer campaign periods and a brand-new way to honor the pillars of Philippine music, this upgrade is a certified game-changer for music lovers nationwide.
