Leo Consul looks back on his stint in Eat Bulaga! Indonesia that started in 2012.
Reminiscing "Eat Bulaga! Indonesia"
Leo Consul's connection to the Dabarkads runs deep. He was a pioneer host of Eat Bulaga! Indonesia, the first international franchise of the legendary Philippine variety show. During his visit:
* Theme Song Revival: Leo moved the audience by singing the Eat Bulaga! Indonesia theme song, a nod to the program’s global legacy.
* Fun and Games: The 38-year old Pinoy celebrity from Indonesia participated in the lively segments, including "Age is Right," sharing what he called a "fun kulitan" with the hosts.
* Warm Welcome: The veteran hosts welcomed him with open arms. Allan K even jokingly teased that he’d love to join Leo back in Indonesia!
Gratitude to the Legends
Taking to social media, Leo expressed his profound gratitude for the experience. He thanked the iconic trio TVJ (Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon) for the warm reception.
He also gave a special shout-out to Ma’am Jeny Ferre, the creative force behind many of the show's iconic segments, for making the reunion possible.
"It was a fun kulitan with the OG Dabarkads kanina. Nanood ba kayo kanina ng Eat Bulaga? Thanks TVJ for having me. Thanks Ma’am Jeny Ferre for making this happen," Leo shared on his Facebook page.
Is "Sugod Bahay" Next?
The buzz doesn't stop at the studio. After fans suggested he join the JoWaPao (Jose, Wally, and Paolo) trio for the beloved "Sugod Bahay" segment, Leo enthusiastically replied, "Game na game!!" With his recent studio visit proving his chemistry with the team is still electric, many are speculating that a barangay visit with the "Balikbayan" star is just around the corner.
